As you add components, texts, logos, questions or groups to your product, Questions are automatically generated and will appear in the choice panel.
Some elements could be visible on your product but are not necessarily questions. For example, a background component.
To remove the question from the choice panel, simply drag and drop the element to the Behind the scene area on the left side panel.
The title of your question will be displayed in the choice panel.
If you add a description, it will appear on top of the question when it is open.
If you select a view, whenever the end-user edits this question, the product preview will switch to that particular view. For example if a text is only visible on view 2, you probably want the product preview to switch to view 2 when the end-user is typing.
Activate this setting if your want your choice to be displayed in the summary. The summary data is also visible in the Shopping Cart.
Activate this setting if you want to force the end-user to interact with a choice.
Activate this setting if you want to hide a question when there is no choice available instead of displaying the error message: There is no option available with your current design.
You can choose which input type you would like the end-user to interact with for any question.
Thumbnails buttons allows the end-user to choose only one of a predefined set of mutually exclusive options. Each button has a thumbnail image to help the end-user understand the choice. Thumbnail buttons are displayed in a line.
The dropdown allows the end-user to choose one value from a list. When a dropdown is inactive, it displays a the default value. When activated, it displays a list of values, from which the user may select one. When the user selects a new value, the control reverts to its inactive state, displaying the selected value.
Radio buttons allows the end-user to choose only one of a predefined set of mutually exclusive options but do not have thumbnail images and are displayed like a list.
This input type is only available if you have created your question from a text option. A Text input allows the end-user to type text in a box.
Max length : The maximum quantity of character an end-user is allowed to type in the text input.
Show character count : This option only is available if you choose the Text input. It will display the quantity of characters typed by the end user and the maximum character quantity.
This option is only available if you choose the Text input.
This will convert any text typed by the user to uppercase, for example : MY TEXT.
This will convert any text typed by the user to lowercase, for example : my text.
You can create groups containing questions.
To create a group, click on the + button on top of the left panel, then click on Group.
To modify the order of groups and questions, you can drag and drop them to where you want them to be displayed in the list.
If you want to place a questions inside a group, click on the group to open it and drag and drop the question inside it.
